Ingredients for 2 children
40/60 g Sgambaro Organic Label hulled whole wheat Stelline
One quarter of a red cabbage
1 carrot
1 celery stalk
1 courgette
1 potato
1 onion (optional)
Fresh herbs according to your child’s preference and taste (parsley, oregano, basil, etc.)
Half a teaspoon of baking soda
Salt
Preparation
First prepare the broth: cut all of the vegetables into large pieces (the onion can even remain whole) and place them with your chosen herbs into a pan. Then add the sliced cabbage and cover with plenty of water. Cook for at least one hour.
You will get a purplish broth. Filter it and call your children. Let them add a pinch of baking soda and they will see the purple turn blue. You can play with it a bit until the colour is the exact shade that they want. Add the right amount of salt.
In the meantime cook the Stelline in another pot of water so that they stay the same colour.
Then pour the blue broth into white bowls and let your children add as much pasta as they want and in the shape that they prefer.
Bon appétit and sweet sips!
