Great success for Cibus 2022: pre-pandemic figures with sustainability meeting innovation

The 2022 edition of Cibus, the made in Italy food trade fair, came to an end in Parma on Friday, May 6th.

Thanks to pre-pandemic figures, we were able to meet many foreign professional operators and top buyers.

As always, it was an opportunity to discover and help discover the latest news in the Food & Beverage world, increasingly linked to regional traditions and product sustainability.

An important stage on which we presented the new packaging of our Organic Line: completely in 100% virgin cellulose fibre paper, FSC® certified.

Always for the Organic Line, we launched two new items: Spelt, Lentil and Quinoa Spaghetti  and Cappelli durum wheat Half Rigatoni.

“Carta Conta”, Paper Counts: with the new pack we forgo plastic for the organic line for good, opting for light yet sturdy paper, whose slightly crinkled texture evidences the natural origin of the materials to the sight and touch.

An essential pack that has recently conquered the ADI Packaging Design Award 2022, bestowed by the Industrial Design Association “for innovation, clear information and for the use of wholly recyclable, environmentally sustainable materials”.

One of the many steps on the journey we have undertaken towards sustainability and to become a “climate positive organisation”.
