Khorasan has never been so close.
Khorasan: great
ancient grain
Triticum turgidum
Khorasan wheat takes its name from the ancient Persian region of Khorasan.
The stem is over one and a half metres high and the ear is up to 15 cm long.
The grain of Khorasan wheat is about twice as large as that of conventional wheat.
The ancestor of durum wheat, it is an ancient grain with a high protein content, cultivated as early as 6,000 years ago in Egypt.
Very versatile in cooking, in spite of its exotic name, it comes from a 100% Italian, 100% organic supply chain.
